We really did have a great time.
I was soooo worried about it all week long. The thought of both of the girls actually behaving and doing well on that long of a trip was enough to make me want to vomit and call the whole thing off. The trip up there was fi
ne. We took some super sweet car/road trip shots, as you can see, it was crazy fun! We actually got there before the bride and groom, can you believe that?!
I had no choice but to let one of Cari's friends "baby-sit" the girls while we were in the temple. I hardly knew her and it was the first time in my life I've really let anyone watch Eva and of course Elle too, but I just don't do it, it's usually my mom who watches Eva for me. So I was totally panicked the entire time. Eva was b
eing really good, she was being soooo reverent and respectful but Elle obviously had no idea what was going on...I thought for sure we'd be sitting in the chapel waiting to go into the sealing room and we'd be able to hear the distinct sound of blood curdling screaming...and then a page coming from an unknown intercom across the entire temple, "Sister Brower, Sister Brower, your daughter is screaming and driving the Spirit away from the Temple and ruining many people's wedding day dreams!"She was crying when we were finally out of the temple, Rachel just took her outside, she hardly ate but she was just tired. They were really great the rest of the time.

After I took several hours of photos we all left for the church building and I got to feed Elle in the poshest mothers room I've ever been in...I told Jeremy's mom to tell Lance and Jeremy to come in and eat their lunch while we were waiting for the reception. I was praying someone would walk in on all of us in the mothers room, eating fried chicken, grapes and having chocolate milk. No one walked in :(

So here are a few pictures of the day at the temple and at the reception, I think these were all taken by Jeremy, since I was taking all the other photos for Cari and Andy. That was a loooong tiring day and I'm soooo glad Jeremy has no more siblings to get married off.

The girls look so cute!! Your mom did a really good job with those dresses.
thanks, I'm glad you looked at it on your own...I spent like, 3 hours trying to get Elle's video dowloaded on here...totally not happening.
Hi Crista, My name's Amanda and I was Cari's YW's leader in Platteville, WI. Anna told me that Cari got married but these are the first pictures I've seen of it. Apparently she hasn't had a lot of internet access over the last little while so I haven't been able to get in touch with her. Thanks so much for posting these. Cari looks beautiful! And very happy. And as a mother of three small kids, I can definitely sympathize with all the worry!
