This was like the funniest sequence of events...we didn't leave till like 11am which is right around her nap time, so she was kind of tired but mostly excited. She was being super silly.

In line to see the new baby elephant. You can go online to vote on his name...actually the poll may be closed, I'm not sure. When we were there he was 15 days old and weighed 322lbs!! He had gained 6lbs in one day!

We got to see a bunch of elephants while we were in line.
Elle had just about had it at this point, she was totally throwing a fit in line and did not want to be in her stroller anymore...this was the last smile for a while.

These are the looks I got because I was trying to quiet her up and give her food...she was not having it. She was really mad at me...if you couldn't tell.

The baby elephant. Blurry I know, you couldn't do any flash photography, so this was as good as it got. Doesn't it look kind of dead and pathetic? I thought it would be all lively and toddler like...guess it was nap time.
Hippos, this was my highlight, they somehow reminded me of Jeremy and I. Ahh, true love.
Eva thought this was pretty cool.
This was her "I'm so scared of the lion" face. Pretty good.

This was Eva being a lion in a cave.
Cheese.

She was super scared to stand by these bears at first but once I showed her they were stuffed she was fine...as you can see.

Overall, totally worth going all the way to Portland, and I am VERY glad we went on a $2 Tuesday, it was soooo not worth anymore than that in my opinion, I would have wanted my money back if paid $9.75 a person!

So fun! What a neat looking zoo- although Elle's angry face is scarier than any of those animals! Yikes!
fun pictures. I loved Elle's faces. My kids are just rude and won't listen what so ever to me when i try to quiet them...
HAHA I was totally laughing at those 'angry' Elle faces. Also that pic at the top of you is super cute!! Looks like fun. I'm about ready to take our kids back there. Especially since Milo probably doesn't recall going...
Love the angry faces from Elle, so cute. She looks just like Savannah when she is mad. I get those looks a lot! Glad Eva had a good time. Can't beat $2.
I loved that 2nd picture of Elle! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
