THE Bun-Hawk

Thanks to my friend Jennifer I discovered one of my new favorite blogs, HERE. It's called Adopt a 'Do Cute Girls Hairstyles. Not only are there pictures for every step, she also gives you the tools needed and a timeline for how long it will take.

Now I think we all know that Eva 1. does not like it when I touch her hair and 2.does not like it when I touch her hair.

So even though I was so excited for this site, I thought the probability of me getting to do any of the styles was low...very low.

So I thought to mylsef, "Self, if you show this blog to Eva she will totally want to do something with her hair and get excited about having hair in the first place!" So I did. And the hairstyle I wanted to do Bundled Braids was totally out of the question once she saw The Bun-Hawk. Which is fine, I'll try to do bundled braids for church. So I got everything ready while she was in the shower this morning and we attempted the Bun-hawk.

I suck at doing hair, on a scale of 1-10 I'm around a negative 5...ponytail yes, occasional braid, sure but that's about as far as my talent goes. I was not only thrilled that I was doing my daughters hair I was THRILLED that she was letting me do her hair, she didn't complain once! It was a small Christmas Miracle.----

She was SO happy, she loves things like this, like funky stuff...which I appreciate, Elle is my girly girl and some day she will grow hair and I will be filled with plenty of bows, sparkles and pink. For now I appreciate Eva's unique style.
