Sorry to everyone who actually relys on this blog to see pics of the kids!
This Christmas Jeremy and I made a decison to not buy any toys.
Several months ago I got rid of all of the girls' toys. I got SO sick of hearing myself say, "Clean up these toys!" That I decided to clean them up- forever.
And the really sad part is that they didn't even care! The only "toys" we kept were a few stuffed animals and some pet shop pets.
The girls make up their own games, they like to do crafts more than anything and play with boxes!
I feel like and idiot for ever buying toys past babyhood.
Of course now JJ is getting older and the toys are starting to spread- mostly giant legos.
It has begun. I'm hoping to keep it in check this time around...third times a charm right?
Here's our Christmas in a few pictures:
So excited about presents!
I know it's blurry but it's still cute.
We stuck to our making giant gingerbread men tradition. Here's photographic proof of Elle's crazy eye:

I have been thinking about getting rid of toys around here for the same reason! I tell my kids I want them to use their imaginations, then stuff Easter baskets with Squinkies! This post is definitely a push in the trash-it direction!
