Yesterday it was like 60 degrees and beautiful and today it's like 50 and monsooning. Ahh, you've got to love Oregon.
Eva's appt. was this morning and she has kind of a "brain" physical, some walking and touching her nose, reflexes etc. Things to just make sure that the seizures aren't being caused by anything else. And she got 100%. So our case is being sent to the pediatric neurologist in Eugene, Dr. Goins, who will apparently be our new friend for a while. Luckily for us he has a great reputation and does an excellent job of explaining things. So who knows when we'll be meeting with him and what tests he may want to do. I hope the conclusion is that she doesn't need medication, there are just so many side effects, I guess we'll see.
So as of now the Dr. is saying that Eva is Epileptic. He also mentioned that I definitely earned my Mother's Day this year, I'll Say!!

Hopefully you can get in to see the Dr. and get some answers.
Good luck with the rest of your week. Be strong the lord will do the rest. You have prayers coming from all over. I am so sorry any of this is happening, but you know it is for a reason and you probably don't like hearing that. I am very proud of you and I anticipate your updates to see how Eva is doing.
Having things like this happen with our little ones is very scary. You are very strong and will get through this. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Love ya
Natalie
Yikes!!! I hope all turns out well... if it is epilepsy, maybe it will be a mild form of it.
How scary, somehow things will work out!!!
It took me a while to figure out what Chrysta left the comment on my blog......... since we apparently look at each others blogs, im going to add you to my friends list if that is ok, then we wont have to use Tracy as a go-between.
I'm sorry. Even if she does have to be on meds it will work out. I was on epilepsy medication from kindergarten to 5th grade until I outgrew my epilepsy (it's a genetic thing that runs in my dad's family). It's scary but they are careful with kids.
