The results are in...yesterday was crazy busy waaaay crazier than Monday.
But I did try Ollie's Tasty Tuesday recipe, because:
A. I had ZERO ideas for dinner and ZERO time to cook it in
B. I actually had all of the ingredients (that's a revelation!)
So I tired it, I did it exactly how she does it, cut up the chicken and made tacos. It was delicious and very healthy! I didn't have a lot of time to eat b/c I had to get gas in my sweet ride and pick up my mom for our first Quilting Class!!!
Very exciting. With the new Relief Society quarterly meetings our ward has a lot of side classes/groups you can meet with throughout the year, one of them being a quilting class. They just started an evening class and I was so excited and so was my mom, she's been wanting to learn to quilt for a very long time now.
Anyway, we got the "blue prints" to our first project. I'm very excited to get started. I'm actually going to try and get it done for Elle's birthday, yay me!

In other news Eva had three playdates yesterday two of which were at my house...one was completely un-planned (in a good way, I was doing my neighborly duty) and in the midst of all the chaos I forgot to pack an extra pair of clothes for Elle in her diaper bag and of course she had weird poo and leaked on her pants...so she was the pants less kid in baby class yesterday, awesome.

And in more other news I'm getting an elliptical today!!! I waited and watched craigslist with vigor and passion for the past few weeks and held out and found the best machine with the best deal ever! So after Eva's swim lessons I'm meeting up with my dad and Jeremy and I'll show them where to go and I will soon be getting sexy for summer and onto December so I can actually have the desire to be in all of the pictures at Disneyland. Go me.
The title of this post is reference to a clip I watched on BestWeekEver.TV for. "My Dad's Better Than Your Dad." = I'm gonna shut you down. Holla back all you computer nerds.

Glad you liked the chicken recipe. I forgot to say that I've never tried it with the hard taco shells... we always go dirt cheap and just toast some corn tortillas. Did it taste good with the hard shell tacos?

okay, I have to know what Ollie's Tasty Tuesday is all about. I love finding new stuff to make my gang happy as dinner time rolls around. I'll be in Corvallis this Saturday so I can drop off the book I promised you like a hundred years ago (sorry I have mail issues!). Jeremy is running the Beaver Freezer Triathalon so maybe I'll catch ya, if not no prob...I'll leave the book on your window or somewhere clever :) Love ya!
