Tracy's Visit

So Tracy and I have been talking about this visit for over a year now and the day finally came!! We haven't seen each other since she got married two years ago, so it wasn't an insane amount of time but, it was long enough. She got in last Wednesday. I planned for Jeremy to get Wed-Fri off of work so he could watch the girls and I could be free to leave whenever I wanted. So Wednesday I go to pick Tracy up and it's been like several years since I'd gone to PDX and I of course got lost...I was extremely irrational on the verge of tears and it was lunch time. I eventually talked to a nice gas station attendant and was on my way...about an hour after I was supposed to pick Tracy up. Luckily for me, she's so laid back she didn't even complain once. So we were finally off and decided to go to Ikea which is literally right by the airport. Unfortunately we couldn't find it. :(

I had a great time it was so fun to just go do whatever. We went downtown, saw some things she really wanted to see and that was about it. Of course the real reason she was in town was that her little brother was getting married so it just worked out that her awesome bff(me) still lives here.
This is the only picture that turned out(and by turned out it was the only pic that didn't make either of us look prego or deformed) the night that Tracy made dinner, shrimp tacos...yum!

You'd think we would have taken more pics...I have some more on my other camera but they're just of us goofing around at the wedding.
Anyway, it was fun. I felt like a 25 year old girl instead of a mommy for a couple of days and it was a super nice break.
p.s. Tracy, Jeremy said I can save more than $10 per pay check to come visit next year!
