Easter Afternoon

We headed over to Grandma's house about an hour after we got home from church. My dad made ham (yum-o) and my parents made two different kinds of potatoes, I'm not sure why...one was red potatoes with a parmesans crust with tiny strips of bacon on top, seriously the best thing I have ever tasted, it was like restaurant quality. They also made these Italian potatoes it was really good, it didn't really match the rest of the meal...but if we were having pasta it would have been more amazing. Then we had potato rolls, I brought asparagus (sooo good) and this Snickers apple thing that my old roommate Ariane taught me...I guess we weren't even roommates when you taught it to me...so my best friend from college taught me this dessert and my mom is obsessed with it. We also had my dads staple brussel sprouts, my mom actually makes it tolerable by sauteing it with mushrooms and lots of butter.
This is what we saw when we walking in the door...well kind of, Eva's blocking all of Elle's stuff. And that giant rabbit is something she already owned. Along with the little recliner and everything on the recliner...I don't want you to think she's that spoiled. So my dad has this rabbit that plays this Peter Cottontail song and it's motion activated...its pretty cute and funny..after like 5 minutes is annoying. That's what Elle is looking at in this pic. She really liked it.
The girls going through there baskets.
That gold egg had change in it for Elle's piggy bank, she was going to town shaking it, it was cute.

The best sisterly pic I could get...again, no one was helping me...
Time for the hunt! Eva was better than I thought she would be.

You can see the Spiderman egg in her shoe and on the blue chair behind her the gold egg. I'm so sneaky. Of course one hunt wasn't good enough, Grandpa did a second "harder" hunt and after that I fell asleep face down on the floor. That's how I roll.
I hope you all had great Easter's I know I did. This was the best Easter in a while.

I just used Windows Movie Maker (the free version that comes with every windows computer). I didn't even know I had it on my computer until we had it for like 4 years. I'm super observant. It's pretty easy to figure out. The big thing to not making it look totally stupid is to not use all those different ways to go from one picture to the next. Example: The next picture bounces in, or it explodes, etc. In the beginning you think they will be cool... but it really just makes the movie look lame. I just stick with either doing nothing or doing a fade from one picture to the next. Just my opinion though.

Oh yeah... and these make AWESOME christmas presents for Grandparents!

Oh yeah.. one more thing. We got a dvd burner on sale one time and it's way cool when you can actually make a DVD to give to parents. I think I paid about $60 for ours.
