I was talking to my friend Tracy on the phone yesterday and we were discussing hair. And how your husband (yes I mean your husband b/c like 95% of husbands feel this way) wants you to always grow your hair out long. What's this obsession with long hair? We don't have gorgeous Pantene hair guys. Those girls have 4 people slaving over their hair to achieve the shine and loveliness...we only have ourselves. So when you ask me to grow my hair out and I hate every minute of it because all I can do it put it in a ponytail (and maybe dry and straighten it for church...I stress maybe) and it looks the same everyday and I start to feel ugly. That's why we've decided (by we I mean Tracy and I but I didn't really ok this with her..so maybe just me) that we need to do what's best for our self esteem and for our overall look. I feel much better when I can actually do something with my hair. It turns out that when my hair is shorter I can actually dry it and straighten it in about half the time...go figure. Now I wasn't blessed with this hair that when it dries naturally it lies flat and no frizzes, I was blessed with a mix between, Mexican thickness and African American texture (thank you DNA). So really there is only so much I can even do with my hair.
Then I stumbled upon this haircut that I think maybe absolutely perfect for me. I may go a bit longer...or maybe not, I don't know. I need a girls opinion. That's where you come in.
Note: These were taken from my magazine...I couldn't find a pic of this cut online.

Soooooo, what do you think? I know I said I was going to dye my hair that gorgeous red color...and I didn't but there's an entirely different reason for that. I like this cut, it's super piecey, it's fresh and it's ready for warm weather!! Of course, I will only get it done if my hair can do this...and I think it can...
Opinions please.

I'm sure it's do-able! Run your idea by a hairdresser and see what they say. If they know what they're doing, they'll have an idea if it'll work for you!

I love it!! It would look great on you. short hair always does. The layers are sooo cute.
Amen to that. Every time I start to lust after long hair, I remember how thick and wavy (not in a good way) it is, and I just chop it off. I'm in the middle of that lusting stage right now, but we'll see how long it lasts! If only I could get 4 hair slaves to come over once in a while...
hmmm..... my hair is stupid wavy and frizzy and that style would never work. As beautiful as it is, it seems like it would be really hard to keep straight with all of the moisture and rain that Oregon has to offer. Does your hair straighten easily and then stay straight despite moisture getting on it? If it doesn't, stay away from the super cute hair cut!
Cut this short I think my hair would stay straight...opposed to it being it's wavy self. I had my hair very short once and it was really easy to maintain. Of course I'm going to ask the lady who does my hair what she suggests so it may be some variance of this...we'll see, I'll post a pic.
i have always liked your hair short and seeing this cut makes me want to chop off my hair, finally my hair has made its was much longer then it has been in a while. i need to hold out a little longer because i have been loving it. but you will look great with this cut. cute cute
