thinking...thinking...
I've been thinking...obviously, thus the title.
Besides my family, I love:
clothes
fashion
shoes
handbags
jewelry
giant rings
socks
tights
make-up (although I'm no expert...I'd say I'm novice)
and
clothes. Did I say that one? So...I'm not an expert and we all have things that we love and hate...and what someone loves and wears is not necessarily something that I love or would wear...also I'm a mom. I mean I don't know everything...I like couture but it's not my life, I don't know everything about the fashion industry and I honestly have no desire to. I think I know "Mom Style" best, it's my forte (is that even the right word? or is that music lingo?)
My point (I know, I know get to it already) I'm thinking of starting a separate blog on Mom Fashion and Style. A Q&A and ideas, where to shop on a budget, what pieces will go in any season, what to get that's on trend for your age and climate. And hopefully host some Giveaways! What do you think?? Would you visit? Would you tell your friends?
Let me know, it may push me to stop twiddling my thumbs and do it (sometimes people twiddle their thumbs in modern day...it happens).

Mascara...is not cheap.

Hmmm, still not sure how this happened. Is anyone else impressed with the symmetry of the face work? Elle was with her BFF Maya, who is known to get into mascara...I doubt Elle came up with this on her own but who really knows. It was hilarious I had a hard time being upset because she looked SO ridiculous...that's why I'm laughing behind her back.
Oh Elle.
Oh Elle.
Fancy Eva's Fancy Nancy Party~

Her awesome boutique pants were fashioned by my mom, she did a great job! Eva loved the pants...plus she was even more thrilled that she didn't have to wear a dress or skirt...even though the party theme was her idea.

That's a shot of her funky hair, I got the idea from Adopt a 'Do, she picked it out herself and she loved it. I sprayed it down with glitter spray...awesome.

In the background of this shot you can see the "Fancy lady" we played pin the broach on the lady but I don't have any pics because Jeremy took all these pics...and before this he was baking the waffle cakes. We also played limbo with a feather boa.

This is me playing Fancy Nancy says...we needed to kill some time while we waited for some girls to get their nails done (thank you Stacey for the AWESOME idea)
This is inside of the Fancy Nancy Boutique. We made Fancy Nancy dollars and each of the girls got three and they could come in and spend their money on whatever they wanted. This was a HUGE hit!
Eva getting ready to blow out the candles to her cupcake cake...yes, the same one you see on the infomercials.

This is the buffet line to the cake waffles. I saw this idea on another blog (I can't find it anywhere or else I would give credit), you take regular cake mix, color it and put it in your waffle iron...we let the girls decorate them with whatever they wanted.

This was another hit at the party. Plus if you wanted a piece of cake you could just take a waffle and start eating it...no fork or plate required.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to my mom for all the hard work you did, my dad, and my wonderful friends...I couldn't have pulled any of this off without you!!!
