It's possible my child is a nudist in training.

Eva's been going through this stage where she's realizing that she can change her clothes as often as she wants. And trust me this girl has more clothes than Paris Hilton...seriously it never ends...she is the reason that I loath laundry.
Anyway, recently when she's going through a wardrobe change she's just been staying in her panties(that's what we call them, but apparently everyone else on your block calls them underwear). I asked her the other day. "Eva, why don't you put some clothes on?" and she responded by saying that she was wearing clothes, that her panties were comfortable and she didn't want to wear more clothes. Whatever. I'm just really hoping that she doesn't want to have a "wardrobe" change at pre-school and strip down to nothing...hopefully she'll be to busy learning to be distracted by disrobing.

Cari Got Married

So the past few weeks were insane...I think I already mentioned that...anyway I finally have time to put up some pictures of Cari's wedding day.

We really did have a great time.

I was soooo worried about it all week long. The thought of both of the girls actually behaving and doing well on that long of a trip was enough to make me want to vomit and call the whole thing off. The trip up there was fine. We took some super sweet car/road trip shots, as you can see, it was crazy fun! We actually got there before the bride and groom, can you believe that?!

I had no choice but to let one of Cari's friends "baby-sit" the girls while we were in the temple. I hardly knew her and it was the first time in my life I've really let anyone watch Eva and of course Elle too, but I just don't do it, it's usually my mom who watches Eva for me. So I was totally panicked the entire time. Eva was being really good, she was being soooo reverent and respectful but Elle obviously had no idea what was going on...I thought for sure we'd be sitting in the chapel waiting to go into the sealing room and we'd be able to hear the distinct sound of blood curdling screaming...and then a page coming from an unknown intercom across the entire temple, "Sister Brower, Sister Brower, your daughter is screaming and driving the Spirit away from the Temple and ruining many people's wedding day dreams!"

She was crying when we were finally out of the temple, Rachel just took her outside, she hardly ate but she was just tired. They were really great the rest of the time.

After I took several hours of photos we all left for the church building and I got to feed Elle in the poshest mothers room I've ever been in...I told Jeremy's mom to tell Lance and Jeremy to come in and eat their lunch while we were waiting for the reception. I was praying someone would walk in on all of us in the mothers room, eating fried chicken, grapes and having chocolate milk. No one walked in :(

So here are a few pictures of the day at the temple and at the reception, I think these were all taken by Jeremy, since I was taking all the other photos for Cari and Andy. That was a loooong tiring day and I'm soooo glad Jeremy has no more siblings to get married off.

More Blessing Photos

I finally got ahold of my moms camera and downloaded some photos...so here are the rest of the pictures from Elle's blessing day.

Blessing Baby Elle

I was so stressed on Sunday. I was just really paranoid about being late, especially since the BI's been breathing down our necks to be at church on time. Anyway, we got there about 15 minutes early...thanks to my constant nagging, plus we got a great seat. Elle looked beautiful in her white gown. Maurine made the dress, it was so gorgeous, I love it! I thought the little pink flowers was a gorgeous detail. Plus she had on Eva's white tights and little satin booties that Eva wore when she was blessed.

Jeremy's blessing was beautiful, the Spirit was so strong. He described it like Heavenly Father has it written down and he's just reading Heavenly Fathers words.

Afterwards we took a ton of pictures, unfortunately they were all with my moms camera so I don't have any of those to put on here but I have ones that Jeremy and I took at home...enjoy.

Ahhhhhh! Last week was crazy!

So, so, so crazy. Jeremy's parents were in town for Cari's (Jeremy's sister) wedding. They stayed with us the week before the wedding. Which was amazing, I unlike the rest of the human race, LOVE my in-laws. They were such easy house guests PLUS it was so great to see them as grandparents. They hadn't seen Eva since she was 19months old and that was the first time Maurine (Jeremy's mom) even met her! Plus we had Elle blessed at church on the 12th and it was so awesome to have so much family there. My parents attended which was so great along with, Jeremy's parents, Cari and her future hubby(Andy), Cari's friend Rachael, and Jeremy's Aunt and cousin. It was so great having so much family support!
Anyway, I'm going to just write up a little bit about each event since I didn't get to really post anything last week and it's easier to read short blogs(in my opinion) opposed to a 4 page one.

We're all sick

I started off with a sore throat then sinus pressure, and I kept thinking, I wonder why Elle isn't getting sick since I have to feed her and I'm coughing and sniffing every 5 minutes? Then the next day Elle AND Eva woke up with runny/stuffy noses! BLEH! So then I'm dealing with my own sickness, blowing Eva's nose every 5 minutes, and Elle trying to figure out what's going on with her nose since this is the first time she's been "sick". There was a lot of crying.

Now mine is turing into more of a cough and clogged sinus and Elle seems to be better today, Eva's still the same and now Jeremy said his throat is starting to tickle! AHHH! It's a never ending cycle.

Eva's Obsessed with Harry Potter

When I told Eva at the begining of the summer that a new Harry Potter movie was coming out "soon" I didn't hear the end of it till we finally got to go.

Everyday she would talk about it and when we would get to go and see it. I had to explain(everyday) that it wasn't out yet, and that we had to save our money to go. So she would find dimes and nickels and put them in her room and proclaim to me she was saving her money to go see Harry Potter at the movies. So sweet, and so smart for a 3.5 year old, how many 3.5 year olds would save money? Not many that I know.

When we finally decided to go (about a week after it opened) Grandma bought us witch hats to wear and a neighbor let us borrow a wand. We got all dressed up and had a great time. We got popcorn and soda and enjoyed our 3 hour movie. Eva cryed at the end because she didn't want it to be over yet...and it was nap time.

We have a unique little girl who loves things that most kids her age run from, but that makes me love her even more. I'm really glad we got to go together and spend some one on one time with one another.

Finally

Yay, I finally set up our own family blogspot! Hopefully I can keep this updated with family pictures and news...and of course all the fun things that happen daily in our crazy house!
