RANCH-a-coo-ka-muncha

Daddy let's Elle dip her Saltines in ranch...he does not realize the ramifications of his actions.

(side note: if you click on this movie you can see her swollen gum where her tooth is popping up)

Oh yes, she is happy, very, very happy. But take the cracker and ranch away, what happens then?

When daddy had, had a enough he got up and took away the bowl. I attempted to wash up Elle's hands and she went into convulsions of anger. Needless to say she threw a fit for about 20 minutes till we tossed her into the crib. Poor ranch-y baby. She did have a good time while it lasted.

More Zoo

This is Elle signing "bird" is that not the cutest thing you have ever seen! I really love that she signs, and I'm trying to teach her more and more, it is such a help for her and me.

Faking it, I wasn't about to drop .50 cent in that thing.

Yes, that's totally my butt.

Our little "eagle" in her nest.

Zoo pics, a week later.

This was like the funniest sequence of events...we didn't leave till like 11am which is right around her nap time, so she was kind of tired but mostly excited. She was being super silly.

In line to see the new baby elephant. You can go online to vote on his name...actually the poll may be closed, I'm not sure. When we were there he was 15 days old and weighed 322lbs!! He had gained 6lbs in one day!

We got to see a bunch of elephants while we were in line.

Elle had just about had it at this point, she was totally throwing a fit in line and did not want to be in her stroller anymore...this was the last smile for a while.

These are the looks I got because I was trying to quiet her up and give her food...she was not having it. She was really mad at me...if you couldn't tell.

The baby elephant. Blurry I know, you couldn't do any flash photography, so this was as good as it got. Doesn't it look kind of dead and pathetic? I thought it would be all lively and toddler like...guess it was nap time.Hippos, this was my highlight, they somehow reminded me of Jeremy and I. Ahh, true love.
Eva thought this was pretty cool.

This was her "I'm so scared of the lion" face. Pretty good.

This was Eva being a lion in a cave.

Cheese.

She was super scared to stand by these bears at first but once I showed her they were stuffed she was fine...as you can see.

Overall, totally worth going all the way to Portland, and I am VERY glad we went on a $2 Tuesday, it was soooo not worth anymore than that in my opinion, I would have wanted my money back if paid $9.75 a person!

We're off...

...to the zoo! Can you believe our daughter who is obsessed with animals has never been to the zoo?!?! Well believe it. It's $2 Tuesday and we're going! I'm just praying that Elle cooperates to the odd schedule, yikes. There will be plenty of pics to come! Have a great day!!

Elle Belle

Elle had her 15 month check up the other day, here are her stats:
Height: 32in. in the 91%
Weight: 22lbs 11oz in the 49% (yay she gained two lbs!!)
Head:47cm in the 80%

Now onto the fun stuff, Elle has two sentence's that she spouts often.

"Here you go" and "What is that?" (the latter is usually referring to food, not that she cares, she'll eat in anyway) So "Here you go" sounds like "heee-GO" she uses it when she's handing you something or when she wants YOU to hand her something..usually food of some sort or a toy.

The second sentence she doesn't say as often "What is that?" but it pretty much sounds exactly like it should, it's so funny to hear her little voice.

She's still signing (American sign language) a lot, and it's SO cute and it can be helpful. Elle's pretty much an open book so it's easy to know what she wants/needs (most of the time).

She loves dogs, and playing ball. Eva and her play really well together, either in the late afternoon or before bed I can usually put them together in the play room and they have so much fun together.

Elle loves to dance and roll her shoulders. She's really trying to jump, which is HILARIOUS to watch. She loves to grab my fingers and climb up my body. She HATES to be upside down.

Once again her pediatrician said I should get a leash for her when we go to the mall or on any outings where she'll take off. He also mentioned that she already seems like a dare devil and that she has little to no fear at all. Yikes! Pretty much the exact opposite of Eva.

She's getting the rest of her teeth, last month she got three molars without me even noticing..oops, she has her fourth molar now. And then I noticed her two top vampire teeth (I know their called incisors or eye teeth but I don't care) are coming in and now the bottom ones are coming in as well.

Her hair is "growing" slowly but surely...we can blame that one on Jeremy. She looks so much like a baby to me still because she's so bald.Playing peek-a-boo. She's wearing Eva's PJ shirt...yes, they are already sharing clothes.

Thank you CW

Ahh, one of my new favorite channels.

Now starting with Gossip Girl. I have not watched this show at all, I never got into it last season and it seemed very juvenile...as I suppose most shows are these days. But I decided with all their new ads that came out (with so much press following it I had to make an educated decision) so I read the first season online (thank you dedicated bloggers of the world) and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I read. Last seasons, season finale was online on cwtv.com and I got to watch it after I read about it...that was exciting after an hour (this was probably an hour overall, it took me like 4 hours to read it due to motherhood duties) of reading. Anyway, I'm totally allowing myself to indulge in the entertainment that is Television.

Gossip Girl is on Monday nights.

Of course there was all this buzz about the "new" 90210. I don't know about you but I totally loved the original growing up...I got the 90210 magazine for crying out loud! That's right, there was a magazine. So I thought I would at least check out the new one. I Tivoed it last night and have yet to watch it...it's a 2 hour season premiere...so maybe nap time I'll get a chance.

I'll give you my verdict later...it may take a few episodes before I make up my mind completly...or it could totally crash right away. This of course is on Tuesday nights.

Now is my favorite obsession/guilty pleasure. America's Next Top Model [ANTM] season 11!! Woo Hoo!! I can not wait, there is a 2 hour season premiere tonight and it's going to be great to get back to my ghetto fabulous roots that don't exsist. Fierce girls, fierce.

Ahh, may the joy of trashy TV season be with you. We all know the good stuff doesn't start for another month/ 3 weeks and that's why TV made the CW network, thank you.

Eva's Lady Lovely Locks

WE CHOPPED OFF EVA'S HAIR!!!!

Juuuuuuuuuuust kidding. Those are her bangs. They've grown out pretty well for almost a year's worth of growing!
