Elle's Two- May 20th

She was as surprised as any of us!
Getting so old- her hair even grew longer on this trip!

Here's her sweet party decorations- notice the cute balloon flower in the back that Jeremy's sister Cari put together, so cute!

Eva and Grandma got up early and baked a cake together for Elle.

"Elle, SURPRISE!"

Jeremy looks more surprised.

Eva presenting everything to Elle

Shockingly enough Elle was more impressed with the balloons.

Happy Birthday dear Elle, Happy Birthday to You!!!

First try...nice.
We decided sign language two was easier than regular two, this pic is blurry but it's the only one I got of her showing us she's two now.

Oh yeah, I think she gets her cake eating skills from Eva.

Present time

All the little grandkids have the same kind of cars.

Elle loved them
And Grandma Reenie gave both the girls babies that came with their own clothes she handmade, you can get cute stuff like this for your girls here.
Those are her caring mom eyes.
She loves babies, she's a very girly girl when it comes to that.

My sweet baby is now two- so pretty much the next day she turned horrendous (just kidding, not really), but I still love her. She has always been able to make us laugh she's a natural talent at everything she's ever attempted and she's only two! I love everything about her even her ridiculous tantrums...why does she have to be so dang cute about everything she does?!

Grandma Reenie and Grandpa Lance's House!!!

They had this amazing backyard- it wasn't fenced in yet but the girls kept inside the boundaries of the yard really well.

Elle being goofy while playing with all the new toys and watching Blue's Clue's.

I'm not really sure what this face is, she makes it when she's being pensive I guess.

Licking the leftover brownie mix. We made this amazing dessert I got from Tracy that she got off of one of my new favorite blogs Eat Me Delicious. SOOO good.

Brower Power Road Trip 2009- Day 1 and 2

All right, in an effort to put an effort into my blog I am posting our sweet vacation trip-
We stayed in a sweet hotel our first night, unfortunately it was the most expensive and the least amount of time. There was a soccer tournament in the town we stopped in, what are the chances? And nothing was available!!
The breakfast in the morning was SUPER good.

Our second night we stopped early to get a nice hotel the girls could swim at and have fun...once again there were no hotels available and this time it was because of a rodeo going on, are you joking me?! So we went to the nearest town over and stayed at a quaint/creepy hotel that was super old. The best part was the girls had their own separate room and they loved that, the bad part was there were no places to eat so we had to get a pizza at the bar across the street and warm sodas...it was still an experience.

We were almost to North Dakota and we stopped at the Red Plains...or something like that, it's like a poor mans Grand Canyon. It was super windy- and very cold- the girls were still in their jammies.
Any place you stand that says: Warning, unstable area. Is a little freaky...

That was the end of day one and two.

Ellie Bellie

Sweet baby Elle turned two yesterday, I can't believe how quickly time is flying with my little baby. I'll try and see if I can post some pics on this computer. We had a nice quaint family party and of course like all children, Elle enjoyed the balloons more than the gifts (at first...well the balloons are the only thing she has played with consistently since yesterday).

We had fun with this North Dakota wind the past few days with some kite flying; I don't think kite flying has ever been made easier. It's constantly windy here, I'm surprised there isn't some sort of festival or something...anyway, even Elle flew the kite (is that right English? who cares).
Ok, I'm ready to be off this computer for now...hopefully many pics will be coming your way soon.

p.s. I kicked butt on Jeopardy tonight, anyone else? I think I could have made a few thousand dollars, whoop-up!

Brower Power Road Trip 2009!!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know our little family will be taking our first road trip...tomorrow!
We are driving to North Dakota to visit Jeremy's parents!! I CAN NOT WAIT!!! We are all so excited and have been looking forward to this trip for many months.
So we may be coming to a town near you soon.
We plan to leave tomorrow at 6am (we'll see) and make our way up through Washington, northern Idaho and Montana, we'll be staying in Montana overnight then through the great state of MT and almost all the way across North Dakota will we reach our destination. After a glorious 10 day stay with Jeremy's parents we will head down through a small part of Minnesota and South Dakota and stay the night in Nebraska. The next day we'll head to Colorado to visit my old college roommate Ariane and her three kids!!! I'm pretty sure Eva will be in need of a playdate by then, after that we head to Utah!! We're going to play the tourists and take the girls to Temple Square and do as much as possible to show them everything. We're staying the night in SLC or some outskirt because staying in SLC is EXPENSIVE! Then we're heading up through Utah to Rexburg, Idaho!! Yay, I am so excited. We haven't been back since we left when Eva was 3 months old. I am so excited just to visit, I know there wont be anyone that we know there (besides Jeremy's little brother, whom we're staying with), but I am hoping to have lunch with some friends from Payless!! I should probably set that up...hmmm. Anyway, after that we'll head back home, we'll be gone for a total of two weeks! I am nervous and excited for the girls and I've gotten a lot of GREAT ideas on how to keep them entertained but if anyone has any other ideas leave them in the comments because I will take them!
I will hopefully be able to update as we're going on our trip, and I will take tons of awesome pictures!

I suck @ blogging

Eva modeling her eBay pants from Grandma- that's right people Abercrombie & Fitch for $5. This is what I see when I come around corners at my house. This is typical Elle.

She's so adorable it almost physically hurts.

This is the first picture of my girls that I said, "Wow, they look like sisters!"

Gorgeous. I can only imagine the teenage years, and I'm 99% sure Elle will be the instigator and she will also give me all of my grey hairs.
